This last recipe is one that we have every Christmas Eve.  It is called Kugel.  From what I can gather it is a Jewish pudding/casserole.  It is delicious, slightly sweet, and definitely the most looked forward to dish of the Christmas season for my family.

Kugel
350 degrees for 1-1 1/2 hours

6 eggs
1 cup sour cream
2 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
16 oz cottage cheese
8 oz farmers cheese (ricotta can be substituted)
8 oz cream cheese
1 teaspoon vanilla
6 Tablespoons melted butter
8 oz angel hair pasta, cooked

Mix all ingredients together, pour in a 9×13 and bake for 1-1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees.  Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar when it comes out of the oven, and serve with additional cinnamon and sugar when you plate it.

I hope that everyone has a very Merry Christmas!  And a Happy New Year!  I will be on vacation next week, so the blog will be quiet until the new year.  Enjoy this time with your families!
