yarn along

I can't believe how fast the progress has been on this spring pullover I am knitting for Emma!  I was able to spend quite a bit of time on it this weekend, and surprisingly I am making quick work of this pattern.  I still have to finish the front, make the sleeves/hood/pocket and put it together.  However, the bulk of the body is done, and that makes me happy!  Maybe instead of a birthday sweater, this can be an Easter sweater!

As far as my reading, I just started Your Beautiful Purpose: Discovering and Enjoying What God Can Do Through You.  I feel like every time the seasons change, I start to re-evaluate what I am doing in life, what I want to work on, what I want to do with the time I am given.  I am really excited to dig into this book and see if I might find some answers to questions I seem to constantly ask myself!

What are you working on this week?  Any new books?

  8. The color you're knitting with would definitely make this really appropriate for an Easter sweater. :-D I hope it continues to fly from your needles.

  9. The sweater is looking great! Awesome job! That book sounds really good. I often find myself wondering about my purpose, as I know everyone does from time to time. My latest book is Once Upon a Flock, the chicken memoir by Lauren Scheuer :)
