knitting and reading

This week I decided to do something a little bit different for the yarn along - I took a cue from Willfulmina and decided to make a video!  It is not long, and I hope you enjoy it.

If you prefer to look at pictures, I have included those as well!  There isn't any progress to show this week - because I am knitting a couple Christmas presents!  However, I did take a trip to AC Moore for yarn - it was fun!

What are you working on this week?  What activities do you enjoy during the dark months?

  1. Welcome to the Yarn Along podcast crowd! Willfulmina inspired me to do the same and this week is my third video. I'll be back by a little later to watch.

  4. I wish I had some suggestions for your creamy-tan colored yarn! I think it would look great in a cowl of sorts, but I've only made up two cowls, and they were both single color, ha. It looks like you would have enough yardage to get something like those really tall cowls that end up squished up like a scarf without having to worry about ends.
I'm also a fan of the Red Heart Soft yarn - I have two bed blankets made out of it, and they're still going strong three years later after constant use!
