{31 Days} Preparing for Baby # 3 – Announcing Pregnancy!

Welcome to my {31 Days} series this year!  We will soon be welcoming baby # 3 and I realized that there is a lot I need to do before that happens!  You can find all the posts in this series here.  Thank you for following along with me.

I have seen so many cute ways to announce pregnancies!  Unfortunately, I am not very creative when announcing pregnancy.  This time around we let the kids take the lead in telling my hubby’s family.  It seemed to work out the best!

However, I have been looking on Pinterest at cute baby announcements, and I think this is one of my favorites:

How did you tell your family and friends you were expecting?  First child or tenth, I would love to hear!

This time around, I took the pregnancy test while my husband was at work. When I found out it was positive and calculated the due date and all that, I went out and bought a jar of Prego pasta sauce, put the due date on the expiry date and, when I was preparing supper, asked him to get the jar of sauce for me. Apparently he had a long hard day because it took him a bit to figure out what I was trying to tell him. 🙂 For announcing to the rest of the family and friends, we took a picture of each of our shoes (hubby's, mine, and our 2 daughters) with our birth dates written below them and a pair of baby shoes with the due date written below it. Then we sent it out with the title "Our family is growing by 2 feet." 🙂 It worked quite well! 🙂

The safety pin idea is adorable! I love it! Congrats on baby number 3!
